Jeanne Randu

A spatial design portfolio where every project has its own composition, and where the author stays in control of her own content.

Context

Jeanne Randu is in the second year of a DN MADE Événement course in Chambray-lès-Tours. Her work — spatial design, set design, interior architecture — is judged on volume, material and light. A grid of identical thumbnails, the usual student-portfolio format, would have levelled all of it.

Design decisions

No repeated template: each project gets its own composition — a rotated photo board, a cursor-driven grid effect, a fanned photo stack, a gallery of named slots — and scrolling moves between those compositions instead of stacking them. Instrument Serif and Instrument Sans are self-hosted, and the animations are hand-written, with a full fallback when the visitor has asked for less motion.

What was delivered

A one-page static site, plus its legal notice. Each project's text and photos live in CSV files: Jeanne edits a row on GitHub, a GitHub Action regenerates the site data and publishes. She changes her own content without opening a line of HTML.
